At Thornhill Eye Care, the health and safety of our patients and staff is of the utmost priority. For this reason, we have taken extra steps to ensure a safe environment for everyone.

Here are some of the steps we are taking:

When entering the clinic, wearing a mask is optional.
Our booked appointments have been spread out to aid in social distancing
All equipment continues to be sanitized before each patient encounter
All contact surfaces are sanitized more regularly throughout the day

All retail Frames and Sunglasses have been sanitized with a special cleaner (Bi-Oh) to rid them of all viruses and bacteria, including COVID-19. For more information click here

Breath shields have been installed onto our slit lamp (microscope) to provide 2 extra barriers during the examination process.

Dr.Sharma founded Thornhill Eye Care in 2008. We are located on the north side of the Thornhill Woods community, and service York Region and surrounding communities such as: Vaughan, Maple, Richmond Hill, King City, Markham, Etobicoke, Brampton, Mississauga and other parts of the GTA. We provide comprehensive eye care for people of all ages.

Using state of the art equipment, Dr. Sharma and the staff at Thornhill Eye Care will conduct one of the most comprehensive eye exams available. We thrive by staying on the cutting edge of technology to ensure you have the best treatment options.
Education

As a Presidential Scholarship recipient, Dr. Sharma graduated from Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago (2005). His education concentrated on medical optometry, and he further reinforced these skills after graduating by working side-by-side with several well recognized Ophthalmologist in the GTA. Dr.Sharma is Certified by the Canadian Board of Examiners in Optometry, and is licensed with therapeutic privileges in Ontario.

It is important that everyone that forms a part of Thornhill Eye Care acts in an ethical manner. From your eye examination, to purchasing of glasses and contact lenses, the staff at Thornhill Eye Care will only recommend what is necessary. We will not perform unnecessary testing, and will not push products/services on our patients.

When you purchase contact lenses from Thornhill Eye Care, rest assured we will stand behind our products. If you prescription changes, we will exchange any unused lenses for your new prescription at no charge. Defective or damaged lenses will also be exchanged. Shopping online? Glasses

All glasses and ophthalmic lenses supplied by Thornhill Eye Care are of the highest quality. Each brand of glasses and ophthalmic lenses are scrutinized to ensure you are getting the best product on the market. Every dispensed pair will come with a 1 year manufacturer defect warranty, cleaner and a cloth, along with life time adjustments. Progressive Lenses and prescription changes have the added value of a 4 week non-adaptation exchange program. We will ensure you are seeing and looking your best when you leave our office.
